New Canopy have teamed up with George Afendoulis to offer clients a range of procurement and origination services for the Olive category.

George brings over 30 years of professional experience in the procurement of Olive Oils and table Olives. Much of this time was with Unilever as their Global Head of Olive Oil buying. Since leaving Unilever in 2014, George has been helping companies with their olive oil origination and strategic procurement needs and is now looking to expand his client portfolio through New Canopy. As well as being able to provide the services described below, George and New Canopy are working together to develop price hedging solutions, blockchain traceability and sustainability metrics to the olive sector.
